James and Rachel have been married for 5 years and just found out that they are expecting their first child! For their session they incorporated props that are dear to them. Bringing out a family inherited church pew, some vintage cameras, a few excerpts of their favorite Sunday comics & some “Dad” root beer to celebrate their new pregnancy! Just one hour spent with them, it was imminent of their strong relationship and love for one another. It was truly a joy to photograph these two!

If we don’t love our job enough already, sessions like this confirm it even more so! This photo shoot couldn’t have been any easier or more enjoyable because of the location and the couple. Chris and Leah went into a zone and rocked it out in front of the camera not needing much direction at all. And the location, well that speaks for itself!

Rachel and I were spending some time in Wisconsin last week when it decided to give us the biggest snow storm of the year! We got the urge, hopped into the truck and just drove looking for inspiration. It’s a little rare for us to photograph each other, but with a scene as beautiful as pure white snow it was impossible to resist! Rachel (my wife) you are as beautiful as ever and your heart overflows with sincere generosity and kindness! You make me a BLESSED man xoxo!!

It was so sweet, a friends little boy saw this bottom image on Facebook and said “mommy she looks like an angel”

We love the feeling of looking at creation and realizing how miniature we are in the reality of things, these evergreens reminded us of just that!

Lianne & Devin got married in the same chapel where Billy Graham was married in Montreat NC. Lianne was featured on Say Yes to the Dress, here’s a link to our facebook page where you can see a video clip, if you closely you will see us when she is walking down the aisle! Her dress was so beautiful as was the entire day. The decor at the reception was perfectly done & so unique, hence the gazillion photos we posted below.
