We’ve been traveling over the summer quite a bit from Charleston to Wisconsin to Mississippi to Florida to North Carolina to Wisconsin (again) and finally back to Charleston – hence the lack in blog posts. We were able to meet some great High School Seniors along the way and take their “Senior Pictures”. We love photographing upcoming graduates, it is such an exciting time in their lives & hearing their plans for the future makes us long for those college days again. (well, kinda) Here’s a few of our favorite images :

We moved here in November 2009, with no jobs lined up, no clients, no real idea what was going to happen with ourselves or Hyer Images. With 2010 being the first “real” year in business, it has been better than we could have ever imagined & the Lord has blessed us beyond anything we could have hoped for!! We are able to work full time at this job that we are totally in tune & in love with, we get to meet people from all ends of the spectrum & photograph their live’s most special moments. I know I say it all the time, but we really do have the best job!
Looking over our photo catalogs this past year to update our website photos, we decided to take some of our personal favorite photos & post them here. We are so thankful to all of our wonderful clients in 2010 & cannot wait to see what 2011 brings! As I scroll through, I can only thank our wonderful & perfect heavenly Father for all His perfect guidance & love He gives us each and every day!

We just love it when clients come to us with great ideas in mind for their photo session! Mollie found us on TWR & wanted to incorporate a vintage like style for her family portraits. She did a killer job clothing the family & the backgrounds of downtown Charleston made the perfect mixture. We had a great time (and workout) chasing little Aiden and Eli all around Philadelphia Alley & got some great shots capturing their unique personalities. Enjoy!

We are back!! After a few weeks of traveling during busy season, we have returned with some truly awesome images to share with you! We have approximately 876,390 photos to filter through, so until then, here’s a few photos to quench your thirst.
Here’s a photo from Kara & Joey’s beautiful wedding in Andrews, NC on October 30th. It was so hard to choose just one photo.

This is from George & Lindsay’s wedding day in Zihuatanejo, Mexico! Now this was a good time
We have a gazillion photos to post from their pre-wedding portrait session, the amazingly stylized rehearsal dinner & of course their wedding day. You won’t want to miss these!

This image is taken at Folly Beach of Mark Denman & his wife Sharon. They have been married for 6 lovely years, but wanted us to do a few wedding photos for them. I am in LOOOOOOVE with this image!

The sweet Malone family portraits taken at Mempkin Abbey for their Christmas cards…

Possibly the cutest family I have ever met….

The touching & wonderful nuptials of Rick & Louise on Kiawah Island…

And last but not least, the beautiful bridal portraits taken of Lauren downtown Charleston!

Did I mention, we LOOOOOVE our job!!?
Also, just wanted to add that Christmas is just around the corner, so if you are needing some cute family photos for your holiday cards, book with us today!
I love me some Gammon family time! Really, I just adore this family inside & out. Stephanie wanted to update some of their wall prints since their new addition, Lily arrived earlier this year. So we headed over to their backyard and scrambled those boys for a ton of shots just to get the few perfect ones. Enjoy!

I love this photo of Ryan & Steph that Billy got, so sweet!

Billy had the idea to get the boys dressed up all crazy, give them some toys and let them run free. It was so funny, but only lasted about 5 minutes until poor Jake got hit with the sword too hard, poor guy – good thing he had his helmet on tight

Ashley is currently in the running for Miss South Carolina and was in need of some great head & portfolio shots. We took her to a few locations around Charleston & let her strut her stuff. We had a blast photographing her, she is a natural in front of the camera. Thanks Ashley, we wish you luck in your upcoming competitions.

There in the middle of a field, Perry on bended knee asked Linh to be his wife…

…she said yes!
Reg & Susan are getting married in less than a month! For as much fun we had with them for their e-session, we can tell their wedding will be nothing less than splendid! Here’s some of their engagement portraits…
